Trying to figure out what this dream character could be, could use some thought..

So, I've done this off and on for a couple years, so I've had a bunch of lucid dreams. I just don't have a ton of experience.

Anyway, my task for the week was to speak to my DG.

So I have a MILD this morning go out front of my house and try to summon my DG. A man appears.

Blue = Me
Red = mystery man

Are you my Guide?"
Nope, sorry I'm not.
Wellll....where is he or she?
He's not here. He's on a different plane. He's here when you are awake."
"Oh no, you have that look in your eye " while smiling.
I feel the dreams fading. So, I drop to my knees and start feeling the grass to anchor myself. It works.
I tell him I want to speak to someone that will help me become lucid more often.
Oh that I can do, follow me and starts walking down the sidewalk.
"You can't just summon the person??"
He laughs at me..
"Hahahaha, yeeeah....no sorry"

I don't question it and start following him down the street..dream continues, but the aforementioned part is where my questions lay.

It's obvious that he knows far more than an average DC.....but can't summon anyone??
Do I have multiple planes in my dreams??
Is it possible that he was my DG and just straight up lied to me to make the task harder??

Any thought would be appreciated..

I would chalk it up to random DC talk, but this particular DC had quite a bit of information. Not to mention, was the character that appeared when I tried summoning my Guide...

Yeah I saw this in another thread... Is it possible that the dream guide may be lying? I mean, No one has said that the dream guide must tell the truth.

True, but I've never heard of someone's Dream Guide lying to him. That's why I have such a hard time grasping that.

Try meeting him again, then make him answer a question you would know if he is lying to or not. Just contributing a little, would be weird if they could lie though? that would mean our subconscious may lie to us in some way, won't it? Make it a lot more complex.

I'm not sure what kind of question you're talking about. I'm not sure what kind of question I could ask him to prove if he is my guide or not...

I thought, "Are you my Guide." was pretty bulletproof. LoL

I'm not sure, but I know that "Yuya", a recurring DC in my dreams, didn't identify herself as a conscious entity and a friend until I had figured it out myself.
She gave me many hints, but she clearly wanted me to come to the conclusion myself, maybe so there wouldn't be a doubt in my mind that I was right?
I don't think she ever lied though... then again, I never confronted her with the question.
Just an idea you may want to consider.

I had an experience very similar to yours last night. I encountered a man whom I definitely thought was more than a DC, but when I asked him if he was my dream guide, he said no. I asked him if he was a regular DC, and he said he was "one of many". I ended up following mine as well, if you're interested in reading more, check out my DJ.

Also, I didn't think Dream Guides were supposed to lie, I mean, aren't they there to help you? I also wondered if mine was my DG and was lying to me about it, but I honestly don't think he was, though I could be wrong.
