you can dream about lucid dream stuff without realizing you are in the dream. But if at any point in the dream you know you are dreaming than you are lucid (depending on your awareness level it can be a semi or a full lucid dream). |

This is just a small idea that I want to put out there to everyone. I had a lucid dream last night, however it was nowhere near as vivid as the one I had before and the events that took place seemed almost too stereotypical in comparison to what I've read about here. Furthermore I managed to fly on my first ever attempt. |

now that you mention it dreams can be from a third point of view (I think that is what you meant) but those are less vivid (for me) |

That's kinda what I'm getting at, when I said observing yourself I didn't literally mean from a different perspective. However I felt as if I was an outsider watching my own experience from within myself. |
