Dream about having a lucid dream???

Has anyone ever had a dream about having a lucid dream?? Last night I had a dream where my dream self was having a lucid dream, and even preformed reality checks and changed scenes. I even remember my dream self closing his eyes and spinning to prevent from waking up. Everything I had researched about lucid dreaming, my dream self was doing it. I'm not sure if this was a lucid dream or me just dreaming about the topic. My dream had the usually 3rd person view. From what I understand, a lucid dream should have a first person view. Faux-Lucidity????

I have had hundreds of these types of dreams especially when I first started.

When I first started they were just dreams about lucid dreams, there is a difference between being lucid and dreaming about lucidity. How many lucid dreams have you had before? if you have had a few you will be able to recognize the feeling from them and compare.

Lucid dreams are not bound by view, it is true that the majority can be experienced 1st person but as you gain more experience you will find you are able to dream in different views.
