I cant control my Lucid Dream, i have to keep the history going

Yesterday i had a Lucid Dream and it lasted for 30min
That was my longest Lucid Dream..

The others LDs i have normally last 30sec to 1min.
      _________

On the yesterday LD i tried something.
I just keeped on going with the dream..

There was a history and i just keeped living that history, even i knew it was a LD i didnt tried to fly or do anything.

Than, after 10min i decided to count my fingers again just to renew my lucidity.
After that i decided that i would modify my whole dream, i would stop following the dream, and do my own different dream.

At this moment, everything turned black.
And quickly i forced me back into the dream.

Than i followed the dream again the last 20min, and it lasted well, with my lucidity strong.

      _______

PS.: The last scene of the dream i was trying to do something out of the history again!

      Now, what is that?
How can i create my dream and make it last?

Just try again. It doesn't always work like ya want it to. No need to over a failure or two. Stay confident, or it's never going to work anyway. Start smaller. Don't just try to change the whole thing, as soon as you get lucid. Do things like moving stuff with your mind. Transform objects. Transform yourself. Fly. Walk on water. Then, when you have a better concept of dream control, then try doing bigger things like changing the whole dream.

But i failed in all my 40 LDs.
      Thats the problem.

I think i know what im doing wrong.
im trying to hard to change things, even an easy thing, i think im trying to hard.

But it feels like that i HAVE to try too hard, cuz if i dont do it, i wont make it to work!

Ah there is your problem, trying too hard. In which case, you should try using ideas from manga/anime/comics/movies/TV/etc, so that you don't have to make it complicated and your dream can continue on.

Ok but what i have to do to this idea become true on the dream?
I usually think in what i want to appear, or something like that, and focus hard on that until it happens.

I should just be confident, and calm and keep the dream going after i tought what i will find?
      or its something different?

Thanks a lot for the tip btw

Well, you should be confident and calm, though if that doesn't works and you feel some stress, just try another power. Never get stuck on a single thing, that will get you frustrated and make the end faster.

Well, I would say, start by forgetting everything you know about controlling your dreams.

Expectations are huge in dreams. You've probably built up an expectation by now. Now you've just got to get past that.

If in all your dreams you have failed controlling them, then you have probably built the expectation that you will fail the next time you do it. You have to get rid of that expectation and believe you CAN do it. If you believe you can then you will be able to do it.
