Thread: Lets list all the shortenings we know!

Hey guys, many newbies in forum find confusing shortenings like HI, DC etc. So to avoid them making multiple topics asking which shortening means what lets just all say what shortenings we know and explain them. Do not repeat ones that are already mentioned.

I will begin:

DC - stands for Dream Character. It is a human or an animal that is in your dream.

RC- Means 'Reality Check'. There are many types of reality checks, but the most commonly used are looking at your hands, or pinching your nose and trying to breath. On a dream, your hands are likely to have more or less fingers than usual, and you can actually breath if you pinch your nose. You do these during the day, when weird or things happen. So, when your dreaming, you will do a RC when anything weird happens, and you will become lucid.

FA - False awakening: as the name says by itself, it's when you wake up IN the dream. it looks like you just woke up, but actually, you are in a dream. If you have the habit of doing a RC(like the post above) after you wake up, then you'll become lucid easily.
