      Exclamation The Sense of touch....

Having lucid dreams filled with sensations. I've felt tempurature, wind, solid objects with texture. For ex. Once I was in a hall full of people wandering so I began to question them about their purpose and direction. I soon began demanding answers when I notice one particular person seem eye me a began to come my way. As I prepared to address him he reached out and grabbed me on my left side as if to discipline me for asking too many questions. As a result the lucid dream ended but I sat in the bed with my side actually feeling like my ribs were in a vice grip. It took me awhile to get back to sleep that night because it actually felt like I was attacked. For a couple of days afterwards every time I thought about it, the sensation in my side would return as if it was part of my muscle memory as if I was really grabbed. Any other senstations out there????

Once I dreamed I got shot in the foot with a paintball, and when I woke up I could still feel it.

Once, I started choking in a dream, and I woke up trying to catch my breath.

Yes, I've had this happen quite a few times.
What lasts much longer than a physical feeling is a strong emotion though.
For example if you fall in love in a dream, you can sometimes feel this really awesome sensation even hours after waking up.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

Yes Hyu! It kind of sucks at first too, because that feeling of love is such a really great feeling. It is a bit of a disappointment when you wake up and realize it was a dream. Though after the initial disappointment, it really makes you appreciate the power of the dream world. That a simple dream can make you feel that happy. Great stuff.

@OP, aside from the emotional impact that dreams can have, dreamers often wake up before SP has completely broken. This can cause dream related sensations to carry over into waking life.
