I just had a crazy theory - is it possible to summon a dream guide during a lucid dream and get he/she/it to teach you all sorts of stuff? |

That's what dream guides are for, to teach you stuff |
Dream Goals:
Water Bend [ ], Fly [/], Create my Own System of Magic Using Wards [ ], Go Beast Mode Using Bow and Arrow [ ], Morph Hand into a Claw [ ], Win a Fight [/], Teleport [X], Summon Swords [ ], Blow S#!t Up with My Mind [ ], Master my Heart Rate to Stop from Waking Myself Up [/], Use a power [X]
So.. I can say Oi you come here! Teach me how to surf a 30ft wave? Or does it have to be within our physical capabilities or something? |
A dream guide can teach you ANYTHING. |
Ok I'll change my question a little: What is preventing some of the most skilled lucid dreamers from becoming Einsteins and stuff? |
What do you mean, from becoming Einstein? You can't get real world knowledge from a dream guide... Dream guides teach you how to fly, not quantum physics... |
they teach you to be better within the dream world, not make your brain better... |
dude I love your avatar, it's Avatar! I have had so many dreams where I can bend!!! |
btw can you tell your DG to show up in every lucid, so they will be a dream sign. |
Nikola Tesla was a lucid dreamer and came up with his inventions (radio, wireless, AC current, flourescent lightbulbs, unlimited free energy from the ionosphere, etc.) in lucid dreams. |
I did that once, and only once. I was learning how to understand the language in dreams and why it was presented that way. I had a fit, a tantrum and wanted my answer in plain English. A dream guide showed up and we walked a ways to a tree. I sat down and he asked me a question. "How do you feel about your progress?" The question crushed me, I never did that again. In one sentence, I felt the full brunt of my own arrogance. |

Thank you all for your replies. I suppose applying what you learn in a dream to real life does have its limits. I saw a documentary about lucid dreaming and it said that some of the greatest minds actually got their ideas from dreams ie. Einstein dreamed that his snowsled went at the speed of light etc |

There are many accounts of people gaining information in their dreams that they would otherwise have no knowledge of which I think is what you are getting at. Obviously your dream figures aren't always going to give you strait answers to everything though. |
