dream within a dream and WILDing inside dreams?

ok here is my last DJ entry

WILD'ing inside my dream, dreaming but fully aware of being awake and 2 false awakenings - all lucid

This one was messed up so bad - started off just me walking down the road with my friends into a pub - i ordered a beer and she said "just one minute i need it to refill" i saw a sort of glass chamber above the bar filling up with beer. After the one beer we decided to go back to my friends house, we were driving on the way home and i realised i was dreaming so i pushed my finger through my palm.

lucid:

so i flew out of the car and flew up into the sky, i changed the weather so it was from night time and a thunderstorm to a perfectly calm sunset with a nice red sky.
I then felt myself waking up so i started to vigerously rub my hands together - i felt like eyes close and everything go black - this was when i realised it was because i was waking up, i felt the sleep on my eyes as i struggled to open them and i lay awake in my bed - i pushed my finger through my palm just to make sure and i realised i was dreaming, i wanted to go back into the last dream - so dreaming - i closed my eyes and i could see the sky which i had made before i had "woken up" i instantly WILD'ed back into the last dream but then started to awake immediately.
I rubbed my hands but woke up again , so i pushed my finger through my palm with my eyes closed and felt it go through my palm. so i opened my eyes and felt myself waking up. - i lost lucidness here
I woke up in my friends car and it was raining and the roof was leaking and i was getting wet (forgot to RC because of this)
i took off my clothes and tried to get dry and all my friends were looking through the car window at me.

I woke up again in my bed and did another RC - i was really awake this time. .

Sorry if that's a lot to read, but basically - i woke up into a dream (flase awakening) but could see the dream i woke up from when i closed my eyes and i could WILD back into it - so WILDing INSIDE my dream and waking up again into a false awakening. to then wake up to another dream.

Odd? comments? how>???

I don't think you can get a dream 'within' a dream, like the layers in Inception. Rather, I think when you go to sleep or wake up in the dream, you just transition to the next part of the dream. I wonder if it's possible to WILD inside a dream like that, to get back into a dream where you were lucid if you lost lucidity when you 'woke up'.

I once had a dream where I WILDed inside the dream, it felt the exact same as real life. Then after I had a false awakening from that dream, it returned to the dream that I was in to start with. It was really confusing.

I had a dream once where I dreamed within a dream. It really is like what shockwave said. There is no actually dream set on top of another, but a single dream changing scenes. In my dream I went to the bathroom, "fell asleep" and started a lucid dream. Then I would "wake up" and be in the bathroom again after someone knocked on the door. I would then repeat this 3 more times never catching on to what was really happening.

I actually read Matte's dream journal today. He said he dreamt of doing a WILD while he was dreaming. So it sounds like this is weird, but not really out of the ordinary.

well it was my first WILD in any case - since i was lucid anyway it was maybe the reason it was induced as lucid - also maybe it worked so easily since i was lucid so EXPECTED something i wanted to happen to happen

Early this morning, I tried to WILD around 3:30am. I was too awake I thought. Anyway, at some point i had fallen asleep and the transition to the dream was so smooth that i didn't notice it. Usually my transition is very noticeable because of sp. I thought that i was still awake. I was trying to WILD for the entire dream. I didn't realize what happened until i woke up at 4:30am. I wasted my whole dream trying to WILD! I wish i would have realized that i had made it all along.
