Yes, I've had a similar experience with a false awakening. I "woke up" in the middle of the night and did an RC, but was like everything was moving in slow-motion and I could barely move. I experienced a kind of dread maybe similar to you. I think the problem here is that although we both knew we were in a dream, neither of us garnered the level of awareness necessary to become fully lucid. So instead of breaking free from this panic, our minds played along with what was happening... exactly like in a regular dream. |
