      Weird experience with false awakening.

I woke up and picked up my iPod touch, and I had no Internet connection. So I went back to sleep. Just this morning, I walked out of my room, and saw that my iPod touch wasn't in my room. It was kinda like a dream sign, but backwards. So I must've had a false awakening, right?

Lol, I had the same kinda experience this morning... I woke up straightened my bed and saw 2 tissue rolls on top of my drawer, and then fell asleep again.. I woke up, and noticed that the last time I "woke" up, the 2 tissue rolls were on top of my OLD drawer... I woke up and was like: DAMN, could've been Lucid...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure what you had was an FA... It happens quite alot, so it's normal... (You could've been Lucid though, so.. :-( )

Definitely a false awakening. It helps if you do reality checks every time you get into bed, and wake up in the morning (or the middle of the night). Also question why you're in bed, and how you got there as an added RC.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I have them all the time and I hate it. I really had to pee a few nights ago and I kept waking up, going the washroom and then realizing I was still dreaming right before I'd pee....it went on I swear for atleast 6 attempts before I had to physically pull my eyelids open and run to the toilet. Sometimes I get them with nightmares too and it's no fun!

Once I woke up to write a cool dream in my DJ, only to find it all blank in the morning...

      I did that once.

And there's this other time... I woke up, brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, and ate some toast that was already sitting on the table. Then I woke up and thought I was awake, and did all that stuff again. Then I woke up for real.

Hahahaha... was the toast any good, at least?

      It tasted like burnt ________.
You can fill in the blank, because I have no idea if it tasted like toast or not.
