      Time in Lucid dreams

Sorry if this is a repost or posted in the wrong place

I'm wondering if time spent in Lucid dreams is equivalent to real time or can it be condensed to last longer. My most recent lasted roughly 3-5 minutes and I'd obviously like to expand on that.

You can dilate time and your perception of it can be a bit off. Perhaps you don't remember certain things or perhaps your brain tricks you into believing you did stuff differently and in another amount of time. It can feel like you flew for 5 minutes, when you know it takes around that long for you to reach that destination in real life, only perhaps you flew for 20 seconds.

LaBerge did a study which showed that dream time and waking time was almost equal.

To expand your lucids, then activate your senses. You'll get longer lucids as you have more of them.

I was in a lucid for 3 days dream time once. After about half of the first day i spent all the rest of the time trying to wake myself up because i thought my real body was in a coma or something. I woke up to see i'd only been asleep for about 5 hours. Idk how that works, the journal entry was a few pages long and the days were very eventful.

I think time is subjective to the practioner. When im non lucid it feels like i've been away for a day during a 6 to 8 hour sleep period. I also think that when u go lucid you can manipulate time just like anything else you do in a lucid dream where u flip physical laws upside down. Will power goes a long way, try diffrent commands or thoughts with in the astral dreamscape to convey the outcome you seek.

In my science class from way back when I was in middle school I learned that dreams only last 2 seconds but for someone who usually remembers her dreams I found that very hard to believe. Most of my dreams last for long periods of time & sometimes it does feel like a couple days when it has only been a couple hours. Now every day after school I take a nap because I never get enough sleep at night. I can't sleep if it's too dark. Most of the time my naps are 3 hours long. I remember waking up from my dreams & looking at the clock to see only 3 hours has gone by when it felt like a day. I rarely experience lucid dreams so I can not answer the question onto whether they go by actual time or not but the times when I have & I know what I'm doing as if I'm awake I do remember wanting an event or something I was at to last longer so every time my brain told me there was only a certain amount of time left & it seems as if it was going to come to an end I would repeat to myself that is not true. This or this has not even happened yet & then it would start happening within a few minutes. When that happens man I don't even keep track of the time but it does feel like an entire day when not that much time has gone by.
