So i was poking around on amazon when i decided to type in lucid dreaming just to see what would come up, turns out, there is quite a few books on the matter. |

"Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge is an excellent book. Perhaps the best book as far as Lucid Dreaming is concerned. Just my two cents. |
|
Nice, i'm pretty sure that is one of the ones i bought, looking forward to reading it! |
|
Anything by Laberge will be excellent. Do you remember which dream yoga book you ended up with? |

The Tibetan Yogas Of Dream And Sleep by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and Lucid Dreaming: A Concise Guide to Awakening in Your Dreams and in Your Life |
|
I was wondering whether I should buy this or not... are all the methods covered in the book already covered here on dreamviews? Is there any reason other than the techniques to buy this book? |

"I know it's easy to imagine, but it's easier to just do. See, if you can't do what you imagine, then what is imagination to you?" -KiD CuDi
Most of the techniques are probably covered within the dreamviews site, but it couldn't hurt eh? |

Good choice. The Tibetan Yogas of Dream And Sleep is one of my favorite books about dream yoga. The beginning chapters can be a little hard to grasp if you are new to Buddhism. Don't feel like you need to fully understand them right away. You can always skip back and forth between the later chapters about daytime/ nightime practices and the beginning chapters about theory. |

Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming is an excellent book, as is Lucid Dreaming - Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner. The latter I preferred the most because it explored many of those things you question about lucid dreaming and the possibilities contained within the dream state crossing over into waking life. |
