      Cool Lucid Dreaming Books

So i was poking around on amazon when i decided to type in lucid dreaming just to see what would come up, turns out, there is quite a few books on the matter.

Mostly by Stephen Laberge(?). I've heard his name tossed around the forum and basically anything to do with lucid dreaming, so i thought, if im going to buy a book I may aswell buy one from him.

Just curious if anyone has read any of his books? Were they any good? If not, im fully prepared to give them a good going through and write up a report on how good they are.

I bought 2 books by Laberge and some tibbetan yoga dream thingie.

"Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge is an excellent book. Perhaps the best book as far as Lucid Dreaming is concerned. Just my two cents.

Anything by Laberge will be excellent. Do you remember which dream yoga book you ended up with?

I was wondering whether I should buy this or not... are all the methods covered in the book already covered here on dreamviews? Is there any reason other than the techniques to buy this book?

Most of the techniques are probably covered within the dreamviews site, but it couldn't hurt eh?

Plus, before i attempt a WILD i usually like to read a few chapters of a book before hand - reading about lucid dreaming in this period could only serve as an advantage right? and im going on holiday soon so will help for the plane journey haha

As i said i'll write up reports on all three if i have the time, just so u guys can decide whether or not to buy them

Good choice. The Tibetan Yogas of Dream And Sleep is one of my favorite books about dream yoga. The beginning chapters can be a little hard to grasp if you are new to Buddhism. Don't feel like you need to fully understand them right away. You can always skip back and forth between the later chapters about daytime/ nightime practices and the beginning chapters about theory.

Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming is an excellent book, as is Lucid Dreaming - Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner. The latter I preferred the most because it explored many of those things you question about lucid dreaming and the possibilities contained within the dream state crossing over into waking life.

The book is so good, that I needed to say that once again.

Buy it, I don't think you will regret it. "Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge.

I recently ordered that book by Robert Wagoner, I can't wait to read it! I've heard great things about it.
