      Studying in a dream

I've been trying to experiment with this idea for almost a weeks now but so far I've been pretty unsuccessful because almost everything I do in the dream world related to studying turns out to be gibberish in the real world.
Has anyone ever managed to do something academic in their dreams (like studying for a test etc) and it actually makes sense when you wake up?

No, when Im in a dream and try to study, i either get distracted or find out that what i have been studying is completely unrelated to my test
      Well then, it's about time!

A couple of weeks ago when I was up late cramming for my last exam. Due to lack of organisation I ended up studying the entire module over the course of a single evening- right up until I got into bed. My head was buzzing but I got to sleep in no time. At 9:30 the next morning I sat the exam, and seemed to have retained a surprisingly large amount of information. I'm predicting a solid mark. Anyway I think a lot of information stuck because I went to sleep right after reading it all. Sleep leaves the brain free to consolidate new information without distractions (from sensory input etc). It's not really a use of "directed" lucid dreaming so to speak, but a use of sleep in general. have a wee look

Aside from that, lucid dreaming helped me learn how to drive pretty quickly, and I anticipate it's going to be a great help when I start relearning piano.
