      Using Perfume to Control Lucidity

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have a large collection of colognes that I have worn at various points in my life. After finally being able to achieve lucidity on a semi-regular basis I have begun to experiment spraying colognes from various time periods. I am hoping to be able to enter specific memories and try and change what happened in reality as well as trying to connect with girls that I specifically remember wearing each cologne with. So far it has worked once in recreating a memory from a cruise I took 5 years ago. Not so much luck since, but I have only been doing it a couple weeks.

I basically just spray 5 times:
      -1 on the pillow
-1 on the back of my neck
      -3 around the room

      Anyone else ever tried this?

Haven't tried it, but it is very interesting. It brings me to an idea:

1.) Train myself to perform a reality check whenever I smell X.
2.) Spray X on the pillow, covers, and sheets.

This could be a good induction method.

I couldn't actually smell the cologne in the dream but I also have never smelled anything in a dream period. That sounds like a solid experiment though for people who can.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll try this experiment; mentally relate my cologne with lucid dreaming.
