      Uncertain...

Hi Ive known about lucid dreaming for 2 week. The first night right off i got a lucid dream but it only lasted 3 secs and was very fuzzy because my awreness was low. Then the next 2 days i remembered my dreams and woke up when my dreams end. But after that my dream recall dropped. I haven't been waking up between dreams and my dream recall went down. It got from remembering 1 dream to remembering a few things to now these past days not remembering anything at all. I've been practicing ADA through the day and doing Naiya's Visualization Technique. I've also been saying and thinking " I will have a lucid dream tonight" and "i will wake up and remember my dreams". I'm starting to become uncertain if lucid dreaming is real and if i could do it or not. I'm worried that one day i might just say its not real and blow it off. I want to learn how to lucid. But i feel so discouraged why cant i lucid or even remember my dreams. I've been thinking of taking b6 pills to see if they'll help but haven't taken them yet. I've read many fourms including yoshi's, naiya's, and puffins dild and newbie guide. I've stuck to naiya's visualization technique. But followed all their suggestions and tips. I don't know is it normal for me not remembering and losing my dream recall? Please help me and reply i don't want to give up on lucid dreaming. But as the days go on i find myself doing less ADA sessions. Please Please help.

Dream recall is hard for people... It's just a skill that needs practice... I suggest you work on getting good recall before you try going straight for lucids. I think that once you have your dream recall pretty good you'll be having more and more lucid dreams. I think the problem is you're trying to eat dessert before dinner. But don't let my words demoralize you. You can lucid dream. Everybody can. You just need to work on the basics a bit more.

      Good luck.
Pls be patient and stop losing your mind!

First of all, two weeks isn't that long to be trying, so relax and know that for some people, it can take a bit longer than others. No one is expected to have an LD the night after learning about the induction methods, a week, or even a month. Sometimes when you're starting out, you can become overexcited and work far too hard, trying too many different techniques and ultimately stressing out. Vividness is something that requires frequent practice in terms of recalling and recording dreams, and a laid-back, unstressed and confident mindset, so don't be discouraged if you're not remembering dreams for a few days. Just relax, and try to recall and record any small pieces of dream you happen to remember from that night. Your recall will improve; don't give up!

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I didn't have that good of recall when starting out either, so don't worry about it!

You need to stop making such great post! You dont leave us anything to say because you say it all.

So how about you dumb things down a bit for now on?
