A lucid a night for two days! But they're not good?!

I had another lucid last night, But the thing that's really frustrating is that I never seem to be actually aware. I was aware I was dreaming, in a kind of office building thingy, very hi-tech (Maybe due to watching inception last night) And I was with my friend Laura. I began doing this stuff. I had sex with a dc , (didn't feel that good).
I kept looking at my hands, counting my fingers, to make sure I was dreaming.
But I didn't feel like I was fully aware, I wasn't doing all the stuff I would have done if I was. I would have flew and stuff :L
I know I post quite alot on the forums, thanks to you guys for continously reading them <3

Well, you are not 100% awake. If you have ever been real tired while awake, you can get a similar effect. Decision making abilities and reasoning are dimmed while dreaming. If you knew you were in a dream, you were lucid. That's all that matters. Dream control is different. Sometimes you can be aware that you are dreaming but have zero control. I for example, had my first lucid last night. I knew 100% that I was dreaming, but I just acted stupid and repeatedly kept checking using the same RC until I woke up to be 100% sure. I wouldn't have done that normally.

      Good luck.

I have the same problem. I'll know that I'm dreaming but for no reason will continue with the dream's plot.

The good news is you are doing everything right.

Ever heard of people complaining how they didn't have quality control or awareness or things were un-vivid? The quality of your lucidity varies. DILD dreams often have lower quality because your awareness has to start from scratch. WILD is much better for most people as they take their waking awareness and hold onto it as they go into the dream. It'll improve as you dream more.

As for the dreams plot, the plot will continue to run even if you aren't thinking about it; the mind is amazing that way. Just like in real life, even when you are busy you can be distracted by things. The dream is a devil that way, it'll try to tempt you to enjoy the plot so you stop being aware. No harm in enjoying the story of the dream, most people do... just be sure to keep lucid. c:

Hm, that's something I didn't know. Guess I'll try some WILDs more and see where that goes. I just finished school so I don't need sleep anymore, lol!

That normally happens in a DILD. WILDS have much better quality, as your mind is much more active. If you can't wild, at least get into the first stage of SP then roll over. Your body is ready to fall asleep, and will faster than your mind. Even though the quality is not great, you can amend this by commanding "GIVE ME CLARITY" which works for me Dream control is affected by how fast you fall asleep I've realized.

REMEMBER THIS FACT: all dreams are not created equal. some have better clarity than others, some are easier to manipulate.
