      Question Creating Sleep Paralysis?

Hey all, Just getting back into lucid dreaming starting 3 nights ago. currently have 4 recorded dreams, (not lucid) I Have had Lucid dreams before, so I;m not a newbie) just figured ide give you a quick bio on me.

Recently I've discovered something about my body. LOL, sounds weird dont it? But at any point, (I dont know how i do it) I can send some sort of "rush" throughout my body. And when I do this, i feel like my heart slows, my eyes roll back in my head, and i start to get numb, mostly in my hands and feet, and the more i do this, the more my body becomes weakened, more numb. And after a while, I realized hey, that's sort of what it feels like when I use to hit Sleep Paralysis. So i decided to give it a try the last couple nights.

And honest to god, It seems as if when i do this while laying down at night, all ready to sleep, I drift off like nothing. I've been falling asleep So So SO quickly. So im wondering is anyone else able to do this? Might this be my own way of starting the Sleep Paralysis process?

I'm going to try it again tonight, except not as intense. maybe, try it slower and possibly begin a WILD.

I just figured I'de share it with you guys, idk. maybe some of you guys can do the same thing? and maybe know what im talking about?

I know it sounds weird! but thanks for takin the time to read this

      Intersting

This is very intersting, and it seems very unique. Though, i think i can do a similar thing. First off, is this "rush" beginning in your head and spreading down?

is it good? does it feel pleasurable(becuaes i have this thing where i can, with a bit of breathing and concentration send basically pleasurable shivers down my spine it amazing)

but I also have compared the feeling to SP so maybe its the same thing!

I know exactly what you're talking about! I've been able to do it ever since I was little. It feels like what blood rushing in your ears sounds like. You feel all floaty and it's really insane to keep up.

A friend of mine says he uses this and can get into SP every time he goes to sleep, but he has a hard time transitioning into a WILD from there. I've tried using it to SP but I haven't had much success, although your post gives me more hope.

Edit: My friend says he starts it pulsating, holding it for longer and longer each time, until he passes into SP.

Hmm, using it to get into sp sounds promising...

I have a real love of Wilding and i am taking it proper serously now like a did a year or 2 back. i had an amazing lucid 2 nights back via wilding and this was just undescribable. Its all about losing all fear and since you can do this rush tecnique already i'd say it is much easier for you to not be so shocked by the jarring SP experience!

anywho, keep up the LDing and use whatever you can to get lucid...

@Zenithar66 & Xantox YES! Thankyou! You guys both described it differently, but both make a great description. It is pleasurable and starting in my head, moving down, and also creating chills, along with numbness, feeling floaty haha, im so happy others seem to know what im talking about.

I think this can be used for WILD-ing, i just took a short cat-nap trying it, trying not to use it as fast as i been. Still the same thing!!! next thing i know, My body is completely numb, im out like a light! maybe because I've had such a long break since ive tried lucid dreaming. WILD-ing might be too much for me right now. But i really encourage that you guys mess with this, i think if we learn how to use it correctly it could improve WILD-ing very much. Thanks for replying!!!!

Not sure, but i made a "wave" go from my feet to my head and that gave me a feeling like i wasnt relaxed and stuff... It propably made me a bit more relaxed actually...

I can kind of do this thing where I kind of "will" my body to be heavier. It makes the front of my head hurt a bit and it's easier to do if I hold my breath. Is that it?

I have experienced the EXACT same thing. Also, it feels like pins and needles, which eventually turns numb, and different levels of "blackness" kind of pass over my eyelids

Yeah, i think we all can kinda do the same thing lol, Im using it every night, it brings on SP very VERY easily when performing a DEILD. I recommend giving that a try.
