Im sure the lucid dream didn't cause it, he probably had prior heart problem. Don't worry, and keep lucid dreaming. Good luck. |

I have lucid dreams occasionally not meaning to. What I have been frightened for 2 years is, My father was killed on his first day of work b/c of a heart attack, what scares me is the night before I had a lucid dream that involved him having a heart attack and to this day I wonder if I could have prevented it somehow. And 2 months ago I had another lucid dream that involved a friend living 6 hours away would come and visit, we went into a Subway to get some sandwiches he got a philly cheese steak which in the dream I thought was unusual. Just a few days ago he came down to visit and we went to subway and it played out word for word what was said in the dream. I just need to know why I am having these dreams and if they are normal |

Lots of people have dreams that seem to come true, but they appear to be largely coincidence. I would say that yes it's normal, but that you're deluding yourself with fantasies. Which happens a lot with dreams, as most people don't understand them very well. There are many traps of superstition and delusions to fall into in the world of dreams. People often are looking to find mysticisms and the unexplainable in dreams, and with dreams what you seek is what you find. Dreams are very plastic. Tread that path rationally, knowing that it is all in your head, and bend it to your will. Use dreams as a tool but do not let them use you. They readily lead the unwary astray. |

Its very interesting though, just like that some people say that when you have a dejavu it could have been something that you already did in your dreams but forgot about. |
