I am sooo dumb

So last night I had 3 dream I could remember. In those three dreams I questioned my state of awarness in every dream. Here is an example:

I was a Wendys with my brother and a couple of my friends. We ordered 10 things exactly. I asked myself in the dream "Why did we get so many?" Then later in the dream once we got our meal the lady counted everything and there was 11. I then asked myself "Why is there 11 things, I thought there was supposed to be 10?" THEN when I looked down at the meal, there was like 5 hotdogs and a LOT more than 11 things. I said to myself "Wait a minute, Wendys doesn't even sell hotdogs, this makes no sense!" I then woke up. After I woke up, I fell right back asleep ion that same dream.

Those are only a few examples, it kept happening that night and once I woke up, I was pissed I didn't do a reality check in my dreams.

So I was wondering, why was my dream self sooooo dumb and didn't relize it was a dream? Am I getting closer to LDing?

You are. That's how it begins. For me it was like I started dreaming ABOUT lucidity for a while... it was really frustrating - I'd dream that I was lucid, or I'd realize for instance that "in these things (dreams, only I didn't think of them that way) as soon as you turn your back on something it usually disappears" and stuff like that. It's like your mind is working its way toward actual awareness in the dream state. So be assured, you're on your way!

Don't beat yourself up, we all do it, else we'd all be lucid all of the time!
Hey I've seen stories where people are discussing being lucid and not realising they are lucid.
