On a roll! - Need suggestions for goals...

I just got back into lucid dreaming after a few years off, because of having 2 kids. Now that they are old enough to *mostly* sleep through the night, I rediscovered one of my prior passions.

So, it's been 2 weeks since I got going again, and started up my dream journal again. The first 3-4 days were about 1-2 sentences worth of maybe 1 or 2 dreams. The last week has been averaging about 2 pages for around 4-6 dreams per night. Last night I had a solid 3 pages.

Prior to getting back into this, I had only had 10 lucid dreams over about 2 years of trying. Over the last 2 weeks, I'm up to 4. Two were really solid lucid dreams, and the other two I realized I was dreaming, then faded back into the dream within about 10 seconds.

Anyways, now that I'm getting back in the swing of things, I really need to have some goals. From the 2 solid lucids I had, they both seem a little wasted. I didn't know what I wanted to do going in, so obviously, I didn't do much. First one, I looked at the scenery for about a minute, then started running around overly excited, which ended up waking me up after about 2 minutes in the dream. The second one, I lasted my longest ever...about 4-5 dream minutes, but I didn't do anything worth while. I guess my logical side of my brain was still tired, because I wanted to prove to my dream sister that I was in fact really dreaming, so I asked her who she wanted to meet. Then I made him appear. This dream character that appeared, is a figment of my (and my dream sister's) imagination. Not someone that I would want to meet, not someone who is even real.

I've seen a handful of other's goals, but need some other ideas too. I want to have my next few lucids to be worth while.

For those who are interested in what I've been doing to become lucid (as I'm am no way, no how, a natural at this), I've been writing in my dream journal at TON! This has kept lucid dreaming on my mind, and therefor in my subconscious. When I get writing in my dream journal like this, I'll start to naturally wake through the night between each sleep cycle, so I get out of bed, and sit with a red light (so I don't wake up too much), and write until I can't remember anything else. Usually around 5-10 minutes. Often times will just sit there with my eyes closed reviewing whatever I can think of, and asking questions about how I got to that place, so that maybe some other portion prior to the part I remember will pop up. Also, I'm trying to do RC's through the day. I don't know if it's actually helping, because I normally don't recognize any of my huge amount of dream signs, but I think it keeps it on my mind, and helps me to stay more aware during the day. So maybe it's helping me be more aware while dreaming.

I also have a problem falling asleep, but I've been doing good the last week or so. I've been taking one melatonin, and two binadryl's, and half of a B-100 complex (to help my recall, and help my mind stay more awake - a full one kept my body awake). I also came across a youtube video of a binary beat, on this forum. I've just been listening to it for the 10 minutes that the video is, then shut it off and go to bed. I've been falling asleep within about 5-10 minutes, where it used to take me about 1-3 hours. Oh, I also make sure I'm fully hydrated. I drink a full glass of water, and take these pills about 1 hour before bed. Then listen to the binary beat on my phone while getting ready for bed, and laying in bed for the last few minutes.

Hopefully I can help some people here, and hopefully can get some suggestions for some goals. Thanks!
