      In my lucid dreams...

Why am i so stupid in them?????

I had a lucid yesterday and i was in my room and i was evil agents coming in the front door from the window and i was like OMG. i saw a gin on the floor and i was like NO WAI, and switched to a paint gun :/

What i would have done is run up to their face and falcon punch them

Why am i so stupid in my LDs?

Of course, you didn't stop to stabilize, bear in mind that your logic part of the brain isn't awake during dreams (Naturals away), so when you become lucid, its kind of like waking up and your mind is foggy, so you need to stop, make the dream more stable and wait for your mind to become clearer.

Thats why the second step after performing a RC is a stabilization method <.<
If its a WILD, then you should have it pre-meditated, if its a DILD it should come right after the RC, if its a MILD it should be part of the mantra, don't see the problem unless you are being lazy with the techniques really.
Good thing my RC is also a stabilization method.

Maybe because your stupid in real life? =P just kidding, sometimes you'll get a great LD, sometimes a not so great one, but what you want to do is to always make stabalization the thing you do when you first get in, or else you might not remember to do it.

When you're sleeping your mind hits the 'rationalization off' button for the night so you're no stupider than anyone else who is sleeping and lucid. Like the others said, practicing stabalization methods right after lucid realization will help kick your powers of rationalization up a notch.

It's not really that you're stupid in your lucid dreams, sometimes that's just the state of mind that the dream plot gives you. If you wanna get out of it, just remind yourself to do something like.. idk, LOL. But I know what you mean and it's not just you. We all sometimes get weird state of minds

The logic center of your brain must have been turned off... Nothing a little more math, critical thinking, or WBTBs in real life won't solve!

fOrceez, I'm not sure whether it's really because of the dream plot, as once you're lucid you usually have the conscious option to stray from said plot or follow it.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
