I never think of doing a reality check . Why ?

I am really into this lucid dreaming thing and i used to be a expert when i was a kid. I used to be able to remember that i was in bed and whatever i was seeing was a dream.I didnt need to do a reality check. But now in my dreams i have problems doing a reality check. It just never comes to mind. How can i think to do a reality check in my dream ?

It was easy as a kid because you didn't know you were concious, more just reacting in the dream, well that's how it was for me.
Don't worry about not reality checking after every strange dreamsign, that takes alot of experience and practice.
Good ways to make you reality check in a dream is to reality check only when something strange happens in real life, systematic (e.g. every time you go through a door way) RCs is not a good way because there isn't reason behind it, a spark of awareness has not caused you to do a reality check hence it will not work in a dream. Have you tried some of the methods found in Attaining Lucidity, there are some good DILD guides there, but if you have any questions, just ask.

well last night before i went to sleep ı read about D.I.L.D and did exactly what the guide told me to do and ended up having a dream totally opposite to what i was concentrated on. Of course i guess this will take time to set in but my only problem is that ı never think to reality check in my dreams. Everything always seems normal. Its like i never have controll. I need to some how get it into habit to doing reality checks

As long as you're doing reality checks while awake any time you see a dream sign or something strange you have nothing to worry about. If anything, Lucid Dreaming is a thing of patience. You should never expect results immediately. Some things take a week or two to really set in.

It can take some time to form a new habit. Keep it up, and make sure you are really focusing on becoming more aware and present in both your dreams and your waking life.
