Top ten things you can do when you feel excitement in dreams:

The following list is made and RATED from personal experience.

Top ten things you can do when you feel excitement in dreams:

      10. Concentrate on pushing that felling down and think to your self "it's not that important".

      9. Lock at nearest object and concentrate on examining it. It would help it you found the object your looking at interesting as this will help you to focus. Redirect your attention.

      8. Move, just don't sit there move. Once you realize it's a dream leave the area. Immediately redirecting attention; even something as simple as a change of scenery can help prevent excitement from occurring.

      7. The moment you fell excited close your eyes and think about falling into a deeper sleep. I also find this method helpful when I feel like I am about to wake up.

      6. Do whatever method helps you relax in real life.

      5. Before going to bed, exercise to make your self tried. Being tried will help you stay asleep because your need for sleep will over power your excitement so that you feel sleepy in a dream. Thus when your excited, you will get sleep as feeling tried is better than feeling excited.

      4. Don't think too much. Your brain is trying to sleep too much thought requires it to focus on thinking. This requires use of your short term memory, which is too small for all the data you're overflowing it with. Use instead your long term memory. How do you do that? Try to memorize one particular thing or place. Don't try to rush this process either. Trying to take in too much results in overloading your brain, which is the fastest ticket to waking up.

      3. Before you go to sleep, think about what you are going to do if you become lucid. Having an objective in mind before hand will help you to remain focused and help prevent excitement. This works because your excitement stems from the fact that you can do anything and you start to think about what you could do. However, if you already have a specific goal in mind, you will focus on that goal. The key here is to have only one goal as too many goals could lead to the problem of waking up.

      2. Take a deep breath in and out. This will help you to take in more oxygen. Thus, your brain will get more of the oxygen it needs. It is also a good way to relax.

      1. Use those five senses. Yes all five of them.Tthe more senses you use the more lucid you'll become. Why does it help? It helps because by using more of your senses you are helping what you perceive to be sent to from your short term to your long term memory.
