Was this a DEILD?or a very vivid daydream?

Um,im really confused what i did. This might be a little confusing, but bear with me.

This happened in the early morning hours (around 2am).Anyway,so I breifly woken up from a nonlucid (nonimportant, but it was about frogs taking over the world and eating humans)when i woke up i started laughing cuz i thought it was funny.Since it was still early,i decided to fall asleep again.I started thinking about what would had happened if the dream ended.Soon after,i started realizing that i wasnt making it up anymore, that i was actually in the dream, but i could still feel my body.Thats when i got pulled out of it and i woke up again.I was confused.I started thinking maybe i might be able to do it again, but this time with my main dream goal.I started thinking about it,and sure enough,i was thrown in the dream again.I was lucid, and i decided to go through a mirror (btw, have you ever gone through a mirror?it feels so heavy going through it,well, for me anyway)i couldnt accomplish my goal though.Throughout the dream,i could still feel my body, but i didnt feel any SP.I knew i was fully capable of moving, but i knew it would stop my dream. When i woke up I was like WTF just happened? So what was this?

"that i was actually in the dream, but i could still feel my body" <---- That's a little bit tricky. You don't always feel the change from physical body to dream body. I've learnt that the hard way xD
So yeah, that would have been a DIELD Congrats

Hypnagogia. You were close, but unfortunately you did not fall asleep and therefore you weren't dreaming. Keep at it though!

Could have been a deep and vivid hypnagogic state as well. Think it was a DEILD though ^^

Oros already linked the wiki which you might want to read, but basically it's a mental state where you get vivid visual and sometimes auditory hallucinations. It happens when you're close to falling asleep.

You are not actually dreaming, but your on the verge of it. If you do some basic logic in your head for a while and don't move chances are you will be able to pull a WILD.
      Good luck!
      Me, "Why are you crying?"
DC, "People won't be my friend because I'm ugly."
Me, "Well I will be your friend... I guess."
DC, "Ewww no! Your ugly too."
