      How much sleep?

If you get a good amount of sleep(like 8+), would you be more likely to have and LD than if you didnt get a lot of sleep(like 6-)?

      Yes.

      I know from experience.

I just switched from getting only 5 hours of sleep to getting my full 8 hours of sleep.

My dreams are much more vivid and I remember more of them.

There is a correlation between dream recall and the amount of sleep you get in a night; if you're well-rested you'll probably find your recall better than if you have a restless night with an inadequate amount of sleep. Saying this, it's always good to get into a steady sleep schedule. Actually becoming lucid may not be affected by sleep amounts as much, but if you can't remember an LD because you only got 6 hours of sleep, then it's best to just try and get a good amount of sleep.

Lucids can be forgotten like regular dreams; I've woken up a great deal of times with a few minor remnants of lucid dreams, but unable to grasp them and remember the entire thing. I've also woken up thinking "nope, no lucids last night", gone through the day, and right when I'm about to go to bed, I see or hear something that reminds me of a lucid I actually did have that night. If it weren't for that reminder, I wouldn't have remembered the LD at all.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
