How To Cheat & Get LD Every Time

Hello, I am sure it must have been discussed before but in case it hasn't I thought I would just mention this: Nicotine Patches. If you put one on an hour before you go to bed, it is pretty much guaranteed that you will have either an amazingly strong vivid dream, or a lucid dream... Oh, and you can also have a horrific nightmare, but I don't believe that has anything to do with the patch, but the person themselves. Anyways, good luck, you can get a box of them from pretty much any convenience store. Would love to hear some of you guys experiences... I have had quite a few of my own.

how would nicotine patches work? What is inside them that helps in LD'ing and how does it effect someone, and what if you are not a smoker?

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe that since nicotine is a stimulant that it is keeping your consciousness more aware while you are asleep thus resulting in much more vivid dreams and a much greater chance of you entering a lucid dream.

The patch itself is a rather weak stimulant, especially for people who have been smoking. However, I have read quite a few stories from people who don't smoke but use the patch to induce these vivid dreams. I have also read quite a few stories of individuals having very vivid and very real nightmares while on the patch. BUT, those people are individuals trying to quit smoking, have no interest in dreaming and probably do not even realize that their fears are only manifestations that they project. For people like you guys and myself who are somewhat experienced in terms of dream control, the patch does in fact induce very powerful dreams but I have the ability to manipulate it to my desires.

Seriously, if you guys are really into this stuff, and you haven't tried with the patch, then you are missing out. I can't even explain how much more powerful it is. If any of you are experienced with DMT, its the closest thing I can relate it to. It's like having the most vivid trip you could imagine.

Anyways, good luck and safe journey

It's because it's a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist, plain and simple. It works like choline but it happens to stimulate that specific acetylcholine receptor very strongly, and since nAchRs regulate neurotransmitters I'd say it probably increases the vividness of your dreams because it gives your brain more chemicals to work with, and also increases memory and clarity. The only reason this effect isn't more well-known is because cigarettes don't keep nicotine in your system long enough to give you crazy dreams, but I've heard plenty of stories about patches. Stories that make other lucid aids sound like crap! I'd give it a go, but do a little research first. Not everyone just does it and has a great time, using nicotine patches, especially if you're a non-smoker, can have really nasty side-effects when you wake up if you use too much, like muscle stiffness and severe nausea along with other sickness-like symptoms. Just make sure you get the right amount and you should be good, though.

Very well said, and probably best advice that can be given on this. Also, remember the patch just like smoking cigarettes CAN BE ADDICTED so please don't let yourself get out of hand with this. And, if you are not a smoker and have no experience with using the patches but would like to experiment with this, then I would recommend you first purchase the final step version as it will have the least amount of nicotine... If you tried that patch, and you did not have any problems, but the dreams are not as intense as you would like, then possibly move up one step at a time... Lol... Actually sounds bad cause isn't the meaning of the patch to get off nicotine, not to get on it? lol, but, just remember that things like this can be a tool if used right, and also be a deadly weapon if misused.

Please understand that you are on a forum with preteens and teenagers that are susceptable to trying things like this. Perhaps they don't think things through like an adult, such as consequences, even if the consequences are explained to them. They often only see the benefits.

Yes, there's always the idea, "We told them what could happen!..." but who planted that seed?

Please rethink this post. I'd recommend taking it down. Addiction can be a horrible thing.

Meh I sort of disagree, because to be honest patches are not a problem. Patches are not abused, kids don't get high on them, and you can't buy them if your not 18 anyways. Besides, im not promoting smoking, and I am not promoting ANYTHING illegal. In fact, I am promoting a tool. Would you ask someone to take down their thread if they said hunting is easier with a gun? Just saying.

For what it's worth, the patch, like gallantamine, only enhances the dream; it does not guarantee LD's. You still have to be able to recognize that you are dreaming, etc. In other words, we're talking about an enhancing tool here, and not really a cheat.

^ That's true as well. Galantamine works on the same receptor as nicotine too but it also works as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor which means that galantamine is even better for this purpose than nicotine, although the nicotine patches will almost certainly be at higher equivalent doses of effect than the average galantamine pill.

I'm going the natural way of doing it! It's a lot better to learn it then relying on drugs.

meh, even relying on a specific food before sleeping is not preferable to me, and taking and addictive carcinogen for this purpose just seems silly. it is an interesting effect, but seriously no one should try to replicate this.

Well I definitely won't be trying this method.

Being 12 years old has it's disadvantages doesn't it?

Even so, I still wouldn't try nicotine patches even if I were allowed to use them. They might give you some pretty nasty side effects

I'm with you jognny boi, I see how it could work but its not really worth the possible side effects, and I'd much rather become lucid naturally than become dependant on a substance for it, even if said substance made me lucid all the time. Becoming lucid naturally just feels more rewarding IMO, however I do still wish there is something natural that can make us lucid every time without any adverse effects.

Normal dreams sound like a good break from lucid dreams, they make good inspiration.
But who am i to judge? I can't even LD properly.

O! The deadly nicotine patches again
U guys should be more open minded, this is nicotine - one of the most abused drugs of our times. I think it would be pretty hard to get addicted to patches (being a smoker my sefl for a long time, fortunetly ive managed to quit due to e-ciggarete, yes ive tried patches for this but with no use...) Also i agree some knowledge should be secret, but not necesarly this
I think info about nicotine and LD shoud be available for all. We know galantamine is better but in some countries its impossible to get it or its extreemly expensive ( for exampe PL , btw, this is a strange country, can U imagine that lately Calea Zacatechichi was delegalized this is insane! they would do more good if they would delegalize nicotine or alko ).

Well this aint no wonder method There aint no wonder method. But if we can make something easier- why not. Just remember safety and helth should be prior to achiving LD. Still we have to remember that each one is different and the effects can vary. Well for me Silene Capensis works wonders (dont tell any one cause its still legal ) but I personally know people (experienced dreamers) that claim no effect at all.
Info about nicotine patches can be found in this book "Advanced Lucid Dreaming: The Power of Supplements" by Thomas Yuschak.

Lets share knowledge and use it wisely.
