Visible but not tangible objects in a LD?

It's funny, I remember one time where I had this dream that I found myself lurking inside an old age home. There were these weird but cool artifacts, and really interesting old relics from what looks like it spawned from a primitive life.

But I was figuring out where I was, did some RCs, then successfully turned it lucid.

I continued to lurk in the dream scene, I was staring at some paintings and decided to lay my hands on it, only to fail miserably as they were intangible! It's like a hologram. I couldn't touch most of the things inside. Lol. I tried to run through walls too xD. I tried to stabilize, but the dream scene is fading, it's like the opacity of the objects are reducing until it turned pitch black.

In the beginning there were only a certain distance that is visible. The rest is a blur. It's like you're in a mist, only that it's dark. As you progress through the dream scene there is a minimal amount of light that is provided.

Anyone who's been on the same page?

Tell me what time it is, say that it's a dream, and embrace me.

I've never experienced that exactly, but it does make sense, since as you say in lucid dreams you can walk through walls and press your finger right through your palm etc. It
s like the brain forms visuals but sometimes neglects to add the factor of tangible solidity to them. Or. as in the case of fingerpalms and walking through walls, sometimes the tangibility is there, but it's a rather weak illusion and can be broken with a little persistence.

With what you're talking about though, it sounds like intangibility was a part of the objects right from the beginning. That is strange.
