      Kicked Out of a Lucid

I was in a medival time setting and i was non lucid for a long time before this. As I am heading back to the festival at night to get my music player a LARGE group of people coming from the festival are heading my way. An announcer says something about dragons. Suddenly they rush and I realize i'm lucid I try to stop them and it does'nt work then I try to escape by flying and as I got off the ground they grab me and I feel a piercing pain in my left leg then they swing me down to the ground and I find myself awake in bed pissed that I missed a fun lucid dream. It seems to me that these people kicked me out. Anyone ever had a problem like this?
Dreams that last for a few seconds
      house more wisdom
      Then those that last forever.
      It is always our nightmares
      that are the most vivid.
But if the vividness was taken away
would they really be so scary?

I don't think they were trying to kick you out of the dream so much as they just wanted to "kill" you. Stuff like that happens to me all the time and usually triggers me to become lucid. My advice is to blow them up next time. >:D

yea it's weird. even before seeing inception, it has seemed as if my DC's always try to undermine whatever it is I am trying to do on the rare occasion I become lucid. They have given me bad directions, the DC I'm trying to find will disappear, or DC's just pop up out of thin air and start attacking me.

      DC's can be weird
One time I became lucid and I went to my school. I walked in the cafeteria and everyone stopped talking turned around and looked at me.
that shit freaked me out man
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

Did you double check to make sure it was not a false awakening? When I get booted from a dream, there is a good chance I am just dreaming about waking up.

Actually I didn't check because False Awakenings are not really something I have much experience. Though the thought has crossed my mind that it might of been one. I should really start making sure.

I've never really been kicked out of a lucid, for me personally most people don't react to me any differently than when I wasn't lucid. Some have been hostile but for the most part the people in my dreams seem indifferent.

I don't think you were kicked out either. The spike in your emotion and/or the slamming of your physical body on the ground probably woke you up. Also, your font

The same thing has happened to me, but I don't think we were getting kicked out. Just a simple matter of destabilization, I think, and when it happens it really sucks. Once some idiot DC hit me in the face with the handle of a shovel, and even though I knew I was lucid, I just couldn't hit him back and I woke up... Since then I've taken a few DC's lives, but anyway...

I guess it's up to your view about reality that DCs will try to boot you or not.

In my 2nd lucid dream in my life I told a sailor that I'm lucid and he's fake, he didn't attack me, all he did is say "Yeah, this is in your head, but that doesn't mean I don't exist"
And after that conversation I now doubted the reality.
