While I was browsing some dream journals on the site, a question popped into my head. Is it possible to master your own dreams absolutely, consistent lucid dreams with full vividness, control, and recall? |

This question has been asked a few times. Most people with insane amounts of experience can go lucid just about whenever they want and every night (or close to it.) I don't think you can shape you dreams the way you want 100% of the time. Once you're lucid you should be, but you can only influence whatever non-lucids should be about. And even lucids can get bat shit crazily random at times. |

So you can't control all of the dream all of the time? That suits me fine, I'd rather let the dream take me crazy places anyway haha |
|
Well, there are some who can from what I know, but most people can't, not all the time at least. |

It takes time, dedication, and confidence but I do believe it is possible. |

From personal experience what works for me is not try to master anything but rather give the dream world a life of it's own. Not sure if that makes sense but when I attain lucidity I see that world as it's own living organism. Is it really? I don't think anyone knows for sure but from what I have gathered I seemed to do a lot better if I master my techniques, and yes my body process and not so much what's on the other side. Hope this helps. |
