Is there a mastery of dreaming?

While I was browsing some dream journals on the site, a question popped into my head. Is it possible to master your own dreams absolutely, consistent lucid dreams with full vividness, control, and recall?

This question has been asked a few times. Most people with insane amounts of experience can go lucid just about whenever they want and every night (or close to it.) I don't think you can shape you dreams the way you want 100% of the time. Once you're lucid you should be, but you can only influence whatever non-lucids should be about. And even lucids can get bat shit crazily random at times.

      As Matte said.
Daily lucidity isn't all that crazy either, but even if lucid that doesn't means that you will be able to control the dream all the time. Which is why I like to control my dream-body instead, nobody loses that way.

So you can't control all of the dream all of the time? That suits me fine, I'd rather let the dream take me crazy places anyway haha

Well, there are some who can from what I know, but most people can't, not all the time at least.

It takes time, dedication, and confidence but I do believe it is possible.

From personal experience what works for me is not try to master anything but rather give the dream world a life of it's own. Not sure if that makes sense but when I attain lucidity I see that world as it's own living organism. Is it really? I don't think anyone knows for sure but from what I have gathered I seemed to do a lot better if I master my techniques, and yes my body process and not so much what's on the other side. Hope this helps.
