I'd say it's a coincidence, it's your first lucid, right? If it happens again, then it might be something else. Of course, if your lucid you can change it. |

The full dream is my latest entry to my dream journal, but I'll let you have the quick version. |

Lucid dreaming since September 2011!!!
Lucid goals: Jumping out of a car going at high speed and crashing into an oncoming car, completely destroying the car, leaving me unharmed.[ ],

Lucids: 16 crappy, 15 good, 5 awesome.

I would also lean toward coincidence. If something happens only once, it's important that you not jump to conclusions. For example, if I see an apple in a lucid and I wake up. I might conclude that apples make me wake up in dreams, and this very conclusion leads to a self-fullfilling prophecy where I actually DO wake up every time I see an apple. A better idea is to set aside this one experience as coincidence for now, and see what happens in the future. |

Leaning towards coincidence as well. It was probably just the dream being played out, as long as you're not having plane crash dreams every night o_O |
