      Transitioning

Can someone explain how to transition from sp into an LD. I get all the signs of SP but ave no idea how to transition. I sort of feel the transition happen extremely vaguely but can never get it to happen.

Simple. Fall asleep, sounds wierd huh?

But the best method by far if you haven't done it yet is WBTB, just going to explain for the record incase you don't know that you should rack up 4-6 hours give or a take an hour too depending on you personally before attempting to WILD.
You then basically just wake up and you will be able to fall back to sleep into a REM period therefore fall asleep dreaming.

My personal experiences of WILD'ing is "falling" into my dream, i feel myself fall or get warped in, other peoples explanations that i've seen is "stepping" into the dream, so i guess it's best to go off personal experiences and read up on multiple techniques to find a good one for you.

Transition has always intruiged me too, my first transition went like this, vague memories of what was happening in sp then all of a sudden i wake up agitated (false awakening) and inmeadiatly rc to confirm my lucidness.
      Science for the win.

Also try not to be frustrated if you keep failing at it, it's something which can make it worse, the greatest thing that i heard someone on this forum say which helped me was to just enjoy the experience of it LD or not. Eventually you will and good luck

My transition is when I can move my body again after experiencing several vibration-waves while in SP. When they seem to be over, I get up and if there's something "off" about my room, then I know I'm dreaming There's usually a "memory blank" between me lying down and me being up, like I don't remember 'getting up'.
