Abilities during Lucid Dreaming




I think the best part of lucid dreaming is the abilities you have during the dream, the things that in the real world would not even come close to being possible. Things like flying, telekinesis, being able to slow or stop time, or even just the ability to control the world around you. These are the reasons that we want to have a lucid dream in the first place, to do things that are impossible just to see what its like. So I've created a way that we can track progress in are abilities and show the degree to which they can go. The first ability I'll do is the power of flight. Feel free to offer suggestions to what I can do to make it any better or if you have a particular ability you would like me to do, just say so, and I'll do my best to meet your expectations. If some of the things on the list are things you have done already, then just check them off. You don't have to do them again.


Flight

Skill-

Novice-
Tier #1: Be able to levitate in the air. [ ]

Tier #2: Fly yourself at least 10 feet in the air. [ ]



Apprentice-
Tier #1: Fly yourself at least 50 feet in the air. [ ]

Tier #2: Be able to control movements somewhat when your flying. [ ]

Tier #3: Fly yourself for 10 seconds without major catastrophe. [ ]



Adept-
Tier #1: Fly yourself at least 500 feet in the air. [ ]

Tier #2: Be able to do flying maneuvers like the loop, spin, and dive. [ ]

Tier #3: Fly stably for 20 seconds. [ ]



Expert-
Tier #1: Fly yourself 10,000 feet in the air. [ ]

Tier #2: Be able to fly really fast (fast is what you think is fast). [ ]

Tier #3: Fly stably for 30 seconds. [ ]



Master-
Tier #1: Fly into space. [ ]

Tier #2: Control your speed, for you can go any speed you want. [ ]

Tier #3: Fly stably for a minute. [ ]

Tier #4: Control your movements, so that you ca fly through anything. [ ]


PS: There will be another section called Current Specialties. In this section you just put other things you can do in this ability that I don't have written down. Also if you want too, just copy and paste the ability checklist and fill it out. I'll post your name and the ability, and also want rank you are.

CURRENT SPECIALTIES

I've conquered your whole list in about two dreams. One i just started running down a road and my feet lifted off the ground and i started flying into the air. I soon got up very high and the air was cold and I realized I was in the arctic, suffice to say it was very exhilarating. Other dream was no big deal I just flew up into space then teleported back

Thanks for the suggestion.....I'm thinking about doing telekinesis next.....so I'll add some more challenging things....I would add some more challenging things to Flight but it wont let me edit anything.....

Thats awesome......do you have any suggestion on how I could make it a little more challenging. And also are their any special things you can do when your flying, like grow wings or anything awesome you can do while flying.

flying comes naturally for me for some reason and I don't do anything speacial. I realized in a recent dream that if you think about how you know you can do it and its going to be really cool when it happens anything lucid becomes easier. to add challenge try doing somthing like finding a plane or dive from the sky into the ocean.

Tier #2: Create a force field of telekinesis to block anything that attacks you. [ ]

Tier #3: Shoot telekinesis mind bullets out of your hand and hit something(shape your hand like a gun and shoot). [ ]



Master-
Tier #1: Use telekinesis to pick up an object the size of a large building(can be larger). [ ]

Tier #2: Unlock a lock with telekinesis. [ ]

Tier #3: Make a object explode with telekinesis. [ ]

Tier #4: Throw balls of telekinesis energy at things. [ ]



CURRENT SPECIALTIES

Forget flying, I was trying to throw magick fireballs at a pack of rabid dogs the other night instead of flying away but it didn't work this time. Much more fun. Seriously now, flying is a very useful ability to learn.

I never actually flown before....never really gotten the chance...but it sounds pretty B.A. Oh and I'm doing pyrokinesis next.....if you have any good ideas on what some of the challenges should be.....feel free to suggest.....it sounds like you like using fire in your dreams....

Flying is nuts. I had a really memorable one last year where I dived through the window of a really tall scryscraper and flew around before returning to the street below. My flight was a bit awry, not like a graceful bird at all. What does B.A. mean? Hope you learn to fly soon. Yea throwing magick fireballs is so much fun.

Ohh...B.A means bad ass

It does grab the attention of humanoid and animal phantasms (I dont like the term DC) which seems to quickly lead to me getting into trouble and losing lucidity

You can do all of these fairly easily if you believe you can do it (not being cheesy its how you do it)

One ability I wish to hone to perfection before the year is out is flying to the Akashic Library.

Ohh and MBA42....I'll do shapeshifting after I put in pyrokinesis.....thanks for the suggestion.....I totally forgot about stuff like that...: )

I can fly into space fairly easily, but tellicaneses is hard for me. I only can bend small things like rocks and wood.

Try shapeshifting. E.x: Make a chair into a box, etc.

Yeah I know some of these might be easy to do, but its more of seeing how far you can go in depth, in a certain ability, rather than a question of how much skill it takes to actually perform the tasks, and really just to hear about people doing the things on the list and see how easy certain abilities can be to one person and to another person be extremely difficult.

I dreamed that I was smoking DMT lol, I was tripping In the dream, which probably made me release DMT in my peneal glands.
Oh DMT, In my opinion the one simple molecule why this website exists.

For me now I prefere Astral projection, heck flying is cool but I recon being a master on Astral projection goes past being a master in Lucid dreaming.

I've successfully spoken to my lost grandfather. I will carry on untill I can find the book of momories locked deep in my mind.

Thats great man, this thread is exactly for building strength in certain abilities.....just try some of the things in telekinesis checklist.....like the next time you have a lucid dream just try to just focus specifically on telekinesis and experiment with what you can do......

Hmm... I can do just about anything if I try it, and the only things I seem to have trouble with is staying awake after I remember myself.

Have any of you ever tried going out in space and changing the frequency like a radio to pick which "station" you want "Earth" to be on? You can change the planet to whatever you want, and see all kinds of new things. I've only tried it a couple times. The first was when I was trying to meet a friend in my dreams.

Teleportation is also a usefull ability that one can have different levels of controll.
