      Lucid in a wet dream?

I hope it's okay to talk about this. I'm just curious.

I believe I read somewhere that wet dreams do not occur in the REM stage of sleep, hence the possibility to ejaculate (since you're not suffering from sleep paralysis). Is this true?

Also, is it possible to attain lucidity in a non-REM dream, and can this dream feel very vivid?

Can you have an orgasm during a lucid dream? Is this the question your getting at? If so, then yes you can. I did it for the first time this morning. It was very intense and an amazing experience. It was not a wet dream however. I woke up clean and dry. Hope this helps.

Nope, I know you can have an orgasm in a lucid dream. The question is: can you have a wet dream (i.e. orgasm and ejaculation) in which you also become lucid? Still, thanks for the answer, all help/experiences are appreciated.

No they won't feel very vivid. Whenever you're out of REM sleep they're very hazy. At least that's how it is for me, and others as I've heard.

Well, I'm not hugely educated on sleep stages myself, but as far as I know wet dreams occur in REM like normal dreams, meaning you can get lucid in them. Also, you get a boner whenever you are in REM (only if you are male obviously), so it's not a stretch to say that it is possible to ejaculate as well

Ah yes, I remember hearing something about males having a boner while being in the REM stage of sleep. That makes it seem a bit more probable that it is possible to ejaculate during REM sleep. However, in the book "Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming", it says that we go into sleep paralysis to prevent ourselves from living out our dreams, and the author also reports several tests where males reach orgasm during lucid dreams, and none of them ejaculated.

I guess I can say why I'm asking.. I had a wet dream and became lucid, and it was immensely vivid; the other lucids I have previously had are pale in comparison.

Also, when you have a dream and get lucid (normal dream) you would be in REM. If you have sex it's possible to wake up wet (own experience lol). That means it has to be possible to ejaculate in REM.
