      Writing in Dream Journals

I usually wake up at 3-5AM without particular reasons. I usually recall my dream, resolve to write it down in the morning, and then proceed to continue sleeping and having another dream.
However, every time I cannot remembered my recalled dream at night, both because of bad memory and because I'm busy remembering my new one.
So, is there any way to remember a recalled dream without writing it down for a few hours? Because then I will have 1-2 extra dreams that I can write down.

when you wake up at 3-5am just write some notes or key words about your dream, that should trigger your memorie.
after you wake up in the morning, try to remember your last dream, write it down, then read the keywords and you should remember your dreams that you had previouslly that night

You shouldnt need to write for hours. just write whats going to make you remember, and when you get up fill in the blanks just enough so you will be able to remember it years from now

Usually I'll write down the points in the dream I absolutely want to remember and in the morning I'll use that as a starting point and draw the dream back in. It works pretty well for me.
