Online Dream Journals Vs Real Journals

so i am wondering how many people keep both an online dream journal AND a paper one. i keep both but that has been turning into a LOT of writing the same thing these days. i chalk it up to drilling it into my subconcious that dreams are important. just wondering how many other people do this, or are paper journals becoming a thing of the past.

I still wright out my dreams somewhat on paper, but it's only like keywords. I write down people, places, and things, and their all in order, and that usually stimulates my memory of them enough, then later I can have the key words for reference when I type it on dreamviews.

I would like to have both a virtual and an offline dream journal, but my dreams are just so detailed that it would take ages to write them out by hand. Sometime, though, I'd like to print out the ones I type up for the computer (it would take tons of ink and paper just like anything else I write, however).

I do both. I generally scribble stuff down on a notepad once I wake up so I don't forget it, then I type it up, and then I write it back in a paper journal. Simply for the fact that I might need to take it somewhere to show someone, and they may not have a somputer. Or if said computer/internet gets some kind of a glitch or whatever and the journal gets deleted. Then I have a backup copy.

I keep both a paper and online dream journal - I usually have any one dream in one place or the other, which isn't a perfect system if I'm looking for something specific. I haven't found that one way leads to better recall than the other, and I haven't had time to write out the dreams in both places.
I tend to think more clearly when I have a pen and paper in hand, but sometimes it's quicker to type everything out (and my handwriting can get close to illegible). Lately I've been leaning more towards the paper journal method, and I've started keeping a sketchbook with drawings of the more memorable dreams (even in spite of my total lack of drawing skill).

I've been meaning to start an online dream journal, but haven't gotten around to it, so I only use a pen and paper at the moment. I include pictures of stuff that helps explain the dreams to help me remember certain scenes I think were important. I've become a master decoder of my own hand writing, so no matter how illegible it is, I can always read it, although I try to be neat, sometimes there's so much to write, I just try to write as fast as I can, and that increases the messiness factor. That is the main reason I want to start an online dream journal. Typing is so much easier and faster.

While I do keep an online version I also have an original hand written one. They say writing stuff burns it into your memory much more and that can't be bad tbh.

I'll type mine out and save it on my computer if my internet is down for a certain amount of time, but I've never gotten into handwriting... especially since I have the handwriting of a drunk doctor.

I never write my dreams down on paper anymore.

When I wake up, I think over the dream(s) I had a few times so it's in my head, then go down to the computer. I find typing easier, and I enjoy adding pictures and stuff to my dream entries.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I write notes in my paper DJ, then type it up later. Now that I think about it, I should probably start a backup DJ that's saved on my computer.
