Hello DVers, today I was watching the matrix and playing solitaire (I know pretty lame) and I wondered if it would be interesting to have a game similar in simplicity and concept (to solitaire that is, not the matrix, god no), that was also stimulative to lucid dreaming performance.

Then I decided it would.

I'm a programmer and I would like to make such a game. I am not so naive however that I expect this ever to come to fruition , but I would love to hear input from you all in regards to what elements in particular said game should incorporate for max effect. i.e. "what are important abilities/disciplines to hone for proficient lucid dreaming"?

Memory, of course, is what sprang to mind first, then the concept of knowing one's own personal dream fantasies/goals, having a regimented routine and a positive mentality and determination. Please be as pedantic as you care to be in discerning between what is a different point to that which has been said already by someone before you, such as there are numerous nuances that surround most every aspect of this topic, memory being a prime example with its long and short terms, the kinds of information it most readily assimilates and what makes them stick. (This last sentence seems like a bit of a ramble to me, but I'm sure you get the intention behind it - talk around topics and don't be afraid of coming across repetitive.)

I hope the question won't in your eyes seem sufficiently answered after a small handful of replies, anything that you feel could hypothetically be relevant to the intertwining of games and lucidity is most definitely welcome!

Just as a side note, the original intention was to create something to replace a simple game like solitaire or minesweeper - the kind of "game" which one might play half heartedly while doing something passive like watching a movie. And could be considered an exercise as much as a game.

If nothing else it gets us discussing and thinking about lucidity, eh?

Thanks for your time
