1. First of all, you gotta switch to thinking positively. If you are telling your mind that you can not do it, why should your mind think otherwise?
2. You have to put more effort into journaling. If you wake up right after a dream (you can use mantra 'I wake up after every dream and I remember it'), you need to write it down right away, or at least some keywords. But waiting till afternoon is not good. Writing your dreams tells your mind that dreams and remembering them is important to you and it will help you achieve both.
3. MILD is a wonderful method, I would stick with it. If you not doing it yet, I strongly recommend you check out the Sporadic awareness technique Basically what it is - couple of times during day, you stop what you doing, look around yourself and genuinely ask yourself 'Am I dreaming'. Really consider your answer, don't just say 'of course I'm not'. Some dreams can be as vivid and detailed as waking world you are in right now, that's why you have to really consider your answer.
4. Remember how happy you were when you got your first lucid. Recall that heppiness everytime you think about your next one. Your mind will associate LDing with you being happy and will help you be happy again. Read up as much as you can about LDing. Make a plan what you'll do in a lucid and write it down. Daydream about it and as you falling asleep. Your mantra should be last thought before you fall asleep.
Happy dreams
