Is it Possible for Dream Characters to know when you turn lucid?

Im asking this question cuz lol i was having a dream that i was in my kitchen and there was this lady trying to attack me and me thinking im awake, i was trying to fight her off.when all of a sudden somethin told me "Your dreaming"like it hit me hard everything went from blury to vivid and hd in seconds. lol thats when the lady realized i had turned lucid and began to panic and then i ended up using telekinesis,lifting her up and smashing her through my kitchen window then i just woke up after that. so is it?

Well it depends what you think dream characters are. If you think dream characters are just a part of you, then yes they will know when you become lucid. It's actually quite common for Dream Characters to try and stop you from becoming lucid. If you believe dream characters are actually other people or things outside of you, then you never know

I'm not sure but that sounded really f'in awesome. My dcs are all retarded. My dad once asked me "Why are there so many sugary drinks in the fridge". But i'm not sure about lucidity

Is it possible for dream characters to know when you become lucid? Yes. Does it happen often? I guess. From my personal experience, my dream characters don't really care whether I am lucid or not. They have not really behaved differently when I am dreaming rather than leave me alone - i suspect this is because they realise I prefer my solitude.
Do not placebo yourself, n00bforlyf3. If you get lucid and expect the dream characters to start panicing, they may. Just relax. Do what you want and don't worry about them (if that is your problem).

Yes, I believe so. I've never noticed a dream character reacting to me becoming lucid, but I have met several dream characters who were also aware that we were in a dream together.
