      First WILD

So, early this morning I had my first WILD. I was not trying to do it either. I woke up around 4:00 am from a dream and decided to try dream re-entry considering I have been successful with it before, and while creating a dream scene in my head shortly after waking up, I began to hear weird noises and see random things popping up on my eyelids. I then realized that I couldn't move and that I was in sleep paralysis. I wanted to open my eyes right away but I waited, and soon I started slowly opening my eyes and I was still in my bed in my room and everything was how it was suppose to be, so I then performed a reality check and realized that I was dreaming. I stood up and for some reason immediately fell to my knees, I then crawled through my room for some odd reason, then stood up and walked downstairs where my mom was sleeping on the couch. I then decided to reach into the closet expecting someone to be there but nothing, then looking at my mom sleeping on the couch I thought this seems so real I can't be dreaming because everything was so perfect and in it's place, so I walked into the living room where my mom and dog were laying on the couch. Then my mom turned into my dog so there was two of my dog on the couch, really odd lol, then she said "Hello" and I woke up.

I had attempted WILDs before but with no success. This time was a complete accident but I believe it will be much easier for me to perform this method in the future now that I have done it once.

Since I felt my WILD experience was so cool because of how real everything seemed I just felt like sharing it.

Hi ryman, congrats to you a big well done. The crawling is helpful as sometimes when you wild it's hard to move but for some reason when your in that predicament and change to crawling you can get where you need to then decide to stand when you feel stable enough. You didn't freak out either so good for you, hope you have many more WILD's from now on

Thanks, I think I crawled because at one point I had heard it helps increase vividness.

Did you move or open your eyes after waking up? About how long did it take for SP to kick in? Any more than 2 minutes?

I did not move but i opened my eyes for a few seconds upon awakening. After laying there re-creating a dream scenario for less than a minute I began to hear noises and such, then in about one minute I realized I was in SP.

Congratz, we seem to be on the same count but i can never WILD..
I lie for too long, without results and feel irritation in my joints which causes me to move my legs and arms (not sure if you experience this, you feel the urge to turn your ankles to crack them)
seems like a typical illogical dream
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

yes, I know how you feel, that's what usually happened to me but I think the WILD was successful because I woke up for only a few seconds and was easily able to fall back asleep.
