I had a recent dream with specific names and details about a family. Could this be a connection with a stranger in real life? Or could it be a connection to a spirit or entity?

It can be a connection with either. It all varies on how you interpret your own dreams from within your own experiences. From what I gather, you feel that this might be a dream premonition. I wouldn't be so worried as to this dream came from a someone who is a live or a spirit, what is more important is what the dream is about, what it signifies, and what you can do with it in real life. Should you pursue it? Yes, you should see if you can find any sort of patterns that exists, and that can exist within your life, or even place, situation, or others around you.

Sometimes such a dream is only getting us half way there, it is up to us whether or not we decide to pursue it and discover it's true merit or simply ignore it. Best of luck.

Also possible, but I'm thinking its my mom's family-friend named Sandi in her younger years. (i didnt know her then though) maybe she had a daugter at one time...who was beaten...I'll talk to her...
