I figure they vary, but how long; generally? Are they just feel like a couple minutes in the dream? Or hours? |

The length of a WILD depends on how long you were dreaming when you woke up. A REM period is about 45-50 minutes, so if you woke yourself up from that period 20 minutes into REM, your dream would last approximately 30 minutes because you are continuing your REM cycle. WILD is probably my favorite technique when it comes to dream recall |

When you are first starting out, just like in any techique...your lucids will probably be fairly short. 1-5 minutes most likely. As you progress and start to have more lucid dreams, they will get longer. Perhaps somewhere around the 7-45 minutes mark. I mean it all just varies. Good luck! |

It really depends on in which REM did your WILD happen. At the beginning of your sleep, very first REM is only about 10 min long and the nREM is 80 min long to form a 90min sleep cycle. These cycles repeat during your sleep. Each subsequent REM is little longer and nREM shorter, untill nREM is about 10 min and REM about 80 min long. So longer you sleep, longer your REMs are. But of course, that that's just a potential for the length of your dream. Happy dreams |
