I recently had a weird dream while trying out the WILD induction technique. I hadn't had much sleep before this attempt and this happened in the morning after waking up a first time. In this dream i was sitting on a couch surrounded by 4 of my friends, and I was trying to realize that I was in a dream. I did the hand through palm reality check first and nothing happened, so then I tried reading text and I knew I must be in a dream because it would change after reading it once. I also asked my friends if they were real or if I was dreaming. I did not become lucid through any part of this dream. Does this mean I'm at least getting closer to lucid dreaming. And what would a dream like this be called? |

I agree with GAB. Even if you experience little in the way of control it sounds like you knew you were dreaming. Consider it a teaser for the full thing. |

Thank you for replying. It was definitely more vivid and more realist than any of the normal dreams I've had. This is very good news! |
