Getting into Sleep Paralysis?

Firstly, sorry if I posted this in the wrong category.

Im trying to experience an OBE, but when I try, I can't seem to get into SP.

For instance, this morning. I awoke around 5am, I layed there and began counting to myself to keep myself from drifting off. I let my whole body relax and stayed perfectly still. (I'd twitch here and there, not sure why

) and then, sometimes I'd either fall asleep for 2-3 seconds then roll over and think to myself. "F***, why'd I roll over?" or, it would get really uncomfortable but it wouldn't pass..

If I think too much, I can't do it, if i think too little, i fall asleep.. I think its just a case of whats going on in my head when im trying to do it. I can't find answers anywhere though

Any tips guys?

I managed to have a few OBEs and it isnt easy. Lately I have had very little success. BUt when I was first trying it I went through the same thing. Either I fell asleep or couldnt get anywhere. At first I felt none of the "sensations" everyone talked about. BUt the more I tried it, the closer I got. Until finally I had one.
