What do you guys think this means and why did it happen?

I had my first lucid dream today, and one thing that confused me was that there is this boy I wanted to talk to. In real life, I really like him. But in my dream, I looked everywhere, and I couldnt find him. Why did this happen and what does this mean? Thanks!!

Are you looking for interpretation?

We can't always find what we want in a lucid dream, even when it seems we have full control.

In the Dream Control Tutorial and the Summoning Tutorial methods of finding people and objects are discussed, such as expecting to find them around a corner or "knowing" they are in the next room and when you enter that room you will see them. It's easier to find things this way because the mind can grasp this easier than 'making someone appear' out of thin air.
