Well, you get more "beauty" sleep if you're sleeping in your own bed. It's a safer enviroment and you know where you are at. However, if you sleep in a bed you're not used to, or uncomfortable, you'll wake up more often once your REM cycles end. That's when you remember your dreams. I slept in another bed last weekend and I must have recalled 6 dreams that night without trying. |

I can imagine that the waking up more regularly will help you remember more dreams. What I am wondering in your case, though, seeing you say that you are away frequently because of traveling etc.: are you used to this by now? In other words, do you still have more difficulty sleeping at a new place than you do sleeping in your own bed? Because if not I can imagine that there will not be that much of a difference. |

No I do not think that where you sleep affects your Dream Recall or LD, because I have had three LDs not in my bed, and I got a new bed recently. One of those three was even on my friends floor, lol. |
