      Question rem

I was wondering.REM sleep is when u actually see dreams?
is it possible to see dreams in deep sleep?

well i was thinking of this because , when i take afternoon naps about 17:30 I usually see dreams as vivid as i see them during night. It means that I'm in REM sleep during afternoon naps? if so , is it possible for me to do FILD?( finger induced lucid dreaming)

You do have REM sleep in the afternoon naps yes, but you can have short dreams in NREM but they are normally not very vivid.

FILD is best when WBTB but may work in afternoon nap

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper

During the day your body goes through a biological wave. On its peaks at around 12 -17 and 0-6 (around that) Your body can easily enter rem sleep, Thats why you had a vivd dream. Vivid dreams are always in rem sleep.
