      Worst lucid dreamer EU? :(

I have been keeping a dream journal for 10 weeks now. The only thing that has improved is my dream recall. Last week I recalled 21 dreams but every dream was Non-Lucid. I practise ADA alot like every 2 hours or so. I do reality checks every hour + When I see one of my dream signs. I really question reality, it usually takes a few minutes because I look at my surroundings, and I do other reality checks like plugging your nose etc.. I attempt WBTB, I also listen to binaural beats after I've woken up. I drink apple juice before I go to bed, it makes my dreams very vivid. I keep repeating mantras + I visualize while laying in bed until I fall asleep. I read ALOT about lucid dreaming. Everytime I go to bed I pretend that lucid dreaming is easy, that I'm a pro lucid dreamer. I only had: Some FA's, some very vivid dreams, DEILD (I wasn't lucid but I just got into the same dream again after I've woken up). And that's all I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong with MILD/DILD/DEILD. I've put so much effort into lucid dreaming. D:

Ah, i just guessed because they tend to use this "worst/best xy EU" thing on the LoL forums a lot

Anyway... as for your issue... Are you stressed a lot? That can do lots of bad for your lucids. When i'm stressed i have none until i can get rid of the stress.
Also... you say you pretend that lucid dreaming is easy and you are good at it. You need to believe that, not just pretend it

Other than that, judging by your post you seem to do it well enough, using multiple techniques too. But maybe try to only use one or two? Maybe it's too much and you don't focus well enough on all of them?

I don't have any stress atm, because it's summer holiday. But yeah, It's possible that I'm trying to much.

      How LONG are you sleeping?

I have LD's often but most happen past 7 hours of sleep for me. If you not sleeping long enough that might be the issue.

Otherwise I would say keep up the practice and just be patient. It will happen eventually.

You might be trying too hard and stressing yourself out subconsciously.

You don't want to stress out your subconscious after-all. That's where all the magic happens!

Well I go to bed at about 11pm, but I mostly fall asleep within 30 minutes. I set my alarm at 5am for a WBTB attempt. And I usually wake up at 10am. Do you think that's long enough?

Yeah, that's longer than I sleep.

      Keep practicing.

Try looking at your hands a lot during the day and asking yourself if where you are and what you are doing at that moment makes sense (really question reality). Doing that really increased my lucid dream rate.

      Best Wishes

Well I play video games alot (like 5-7 hours a day), especially now because it's summer holiday. Could this be a problem why I still haven't had my first lucid dream?

Hard to say, but probably no.. Unless it keeps u from doing reality checks once in a while, but u can do that while ur playing a game aswell. It's all about practice, and beleving in yourself.

My biggest succes for lucid dreaming is to wake up afther 4-6 hours and say to myself "im lucid dreaming" say this like 20-30 times, till it's stuck in your head like an annoying song. When u go back to sleep, u will enter a dream and think in your dream "i am lucid dreaming" and there u go, ur lucid dreaming.

I don't think so... Althrough playing videogames can be kinda mindless depending on the game, which is obviously not good for your lucidity throughout the day. But i play games too and use the computer a lot and still have lucids... So it's all about the intention in my opinion. Just look past that you play the games and think that you can still get the lucids.
Still 5-7 hours might be a little too much... depending on person

I've tried loads of WBTB's with DILD but I only stay awake for 5 minutes. Do I need to stay awake longer so it'll work?

Depends from person to person, i prefer to go to bed straight again. But i normally don't do a wild just a little mantra and then go to dreamworld as fast as possible, so the chances of me saying it in the dream will be higher. For Wild i assume it's best to stay up 5-10 minutes atleast, so atleast u have a little bit more awareness to reach your dream.

I usually recommend anything between 15-40 minutes. For a long time i used to do it with 40 minutes, but that made it hard to fall asleep... or at least it took long.

I do it with around 15 minutes now and it's good 5 is not enough in my opinion.
