I've heard this happen before, don't worry. It's completely natural and you just need to stay positive. Every night just go through your normal routine and tell yourself that you *will* get a lucid. |

Basically, had my first lucid dream earlier this month, amazing experience. |

This happens to me actually. I tend to go through periods of having multiple lucids, and then suddenly my dream recall goes down the drain for a little while and I have to build it back up again. |

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.
No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.
Don't worry, that's the worst thing you can do. Just keep trucking along, go about your usual business and you'll be back on track in no time. And don't think that just because you had a lucid means that you can slack off. I made that mistake and it took a while to get my next one. In fact, work even harder than you were before. |

Only took a few days but my dream recall is starting to return. Could recall 4 dreams last night, 2 in a lot of detail. Hopefully means my next lucid is just round the corner! |
